At American Mime Theatre, our workshops are defined by expertise, achievement, and experience. Our instructors bring industry leading experience, artistry, and knowledge to share their wisdom in hands-on, practical, technique-driven workshops for actors, movers, dancers, and performers of all mediums.

SUNDAY SERIES:
FEATURING PHYSICAL STORYTELLING WITH BILL BOWERS
COMEDY AND CLOWNING:
A hands-on learning experience delving into the art of physical comedy on a professional level. The course emphasizes classical and contemporary clown comedy routines, character development, slapstick and physical comedy, and explores the essence and spirit of clowning on a truly artistic level.
PHYSICAL STORYTELLING:
Using Fundamentals of Etienne Decroux and Marcel Marceau, students will develop a foundation of Corporeal Mime, as well as proficiencies in illusory exercises. The program introduces multiple approaches to creating new physically based theater work and gives the students the opportunity to apply these new techniques in their own performance work.
